Hi, my name is Julie, and I'm so very happy that you have found my blog. I'm a busy wife to Joe, a puppy mama to three crazy dogs (Bentley, Winston & Bronson), a lawyer and lover of family, nature, travel, fashion, home decor, food and photography.  I spend most of my time in sunny Florida, near Pensacola, and the rest of my time in the North Georgia mountains.  I love my time in the mountains, and I really believe it's the place I'm the happiest. It's a different lifestyle there...slower and friendlier. I love to take tons of pictures when I'm there and will always share my adventures with you.

I also love life and the beauty that surrounds us daily. I'm a firm believer that we make our own happiness and that if we look for the beauty in life, it will always find us. I've been blessed a millions times over in my life, and I feel that blessings often come from situations and people that we least expect. I never want a single one of you to look at my pictures and think my life is perfect. It's not! No one's  life is perfect. We all face challenges, hardships and disappointments. We just have to hope that life's joys outweigh our day-to-day problems.

Here, I'll share with you my love of simple fashion and as many great sales and finds. I love small shops and handmade items, so I will feature as much of that as possible. I just love something different...don't we all? I also loooovvveee great food, and I will share my foodie experiences with you and my reviews of some of the wonderful places we frequent. I will post some home pictures here and there, but that's not my main focus. Of course, when we travel, I want you to feel like you are there! WHAT'S THE MEANING BEHIND YOUR BLOG NAME?

Ginger because I have red hair and Photog because I love to take pictures. Taking pictures is a huge hobby of mine.

WHY DID YOU START A BLOG? 

I started a blog because I love fashion, travel and beautiful things, and I always have. I thought a blog would be a great way to share my experiences with you all!

WHAT CAMERA DO YOU USE AND WHO TAKES YOU PICTURES?

I mostly use an Iphone 7 or Canon Rebel T3i. I take a lot of my own photos, and my poor husband takes some. He's a real trooper.

WHAT COLLEGES DID YOU ATTEND?   

The University of West Florida, Pensacola, Florida for undergraduate and Florida State University College of Law, Tallahassee, Florida, for my Juris Doctorate.

WHAT IS YOUR DAY JOB?

I'm a lawyer, a real estate investor and an oil investor. #girlboss

DO YOU EVER GET TREATED DIFFERENTLY IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE BECAUSE YOU'RE A WOMAN?  

No, because I will not tolerate it, and I believe I put off that vibe. If you don't allow people to treat you a certain way, they know better than to attempt it.

HOW TALL ARE YOU?

I am 5 feet 1 inch tall, so finding clothes that are the right length can be a challenge. So, for all of you short girls out there, the outfits I post are great for you. I tend not to buy a lot of clothes that need alterations. So, if you like a pair of pants that I'm wearing, you can bet they are a great petite length. On a skinny jean, ideally, the inseam is around 26-28 inches. If it's longer than that, I will likely roll it up.

HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH:

This fluctuates slightly, but my range is almost always between 95-100 pounds. I realize that seems low to a lot of people, but I am very, very small framed. Currently, I am about 97 pounds.

WHAT SIZE DO YOU WEAR?

As you all know, this depends entirely on the clothing brand. My typical sizes are listed below:

Tops:       XXS-XS (0-2)

Dresses:  XXS-XS (00-0)

Pants:      2
Jeans:      26
Blazers:   0
Jackets/Coats: 0-2
Shorts:     0-2
Shoes:      6.5 to 7 (U.S. sizes)

DO YOU WORKOUT? 

I really wish I could tell you that I do. I stay very busy. I'm always running here or there, so I suppose that counts as my exercise.
