Valentine's Wish List for Him and Her Under $100 with Saved Classy and Chic

Well, my friend Anita, of Saved Classy and Chic and I have given you two great Valentine's Day Gift Guides, here and here (that we were pretty pleased with), but this one is special...everything on our lists is under $100! That's right! Gifts don't have to be expensive to be special. It's always the thought that really counts. If you know your partner and listen to them, you'll have a good idea what they might like. My husband and I have been married for almost 14 years, and together for 16 years, so if we exchange Valentine's Day gifts, it's usually something small and thoughtful.

I've teamed up again with my friend, Anita, of Saved Classy and Chic to bring you two great gift guides.  Be sure to hop on over to Anita's blog and check out her great picks! If you'e a fellow blogger, you've probably crossed paths with some pretty fabulous people. Well, Anita is one of those people to me. We brainstorm, share ideas and try to help each other out. I'm so happy to have her as a friend.

Here's what I was thinking when picking these gifts. For the ladies, who will likely be the main ones reading this blog post, there are so many great items this year, you should just buy something for yourself that you love, especially with all the fabulous gifts under $100. Then, suggest something to your love that you would like to receive! That's two great gifts for you! Win, win! Am I the only one that finds tons of great things for myself while shopping for others? Guilty!!

Hey, what about a gift for that sweet friend of yours that's single or recently divorced this Valentines? I think Valentine's Day is a great time to spread the love to those who may not have a special someone in their lives. I always hate the fact that anyone may feel left out or bad because they may be alone on this holiday. Being able to be happy by ourselves is so important before we can be happy with someone else, and that necessarily means being alone from time to time.

GIFTS FOR HER

You guys may notice a common theme in the ladies items...tons of pink and red. I'm going to let you in on a little secret, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE pink! My laundry always consists of a white/light load, a dark load and a pink load...no lie! As for the red, I love red...on other people. I have a few red items in my wardrobe, but I don't wear red very often. I guess I grew up thinking/being told that red clothes can clash with red hair, and it just stuck. In looking at the goodies for ladies, I think two of my favorite things are the Jimmy Choo scarf and the Jessica Simpson pink boots; although the cat eye Le Specs are very much a contender! Let's be honest, I would gladly accept any of these cute items.

GIFTS FOR HIM

Out of the items for the guys, I can tell you that my husband loves Johnston & Murphy dress and casual shoes. They hold up very well, and he has multiple pairs. He never passes up a chance to get more. I've included a dress pair and a casual pair in this list. He also uses his gym bag almost every day, so that great Puma bag is a must for anyone who has a guy that goes to the gym. The very first item, a Harry's shaving kit, is also a gift any man should love. My hubby uses it and loves it.

Let me just take a moment to say, above and beyond all of the hype of each holiday, let's all commit to becoming more present and more aware of the value of those in our lives. We take for granted that they will be with us from one day to the next, and that's not a guarantee. I know we all get so busy, over committed and stressed, but the value in stepping back from all of that and taking a moment to spend quality time with our loved ones will one day be of so much value to us, even if it makes us feel crazy and overextended right now.

Don't forget to head on over to Saved Classy and Chic to see what great picks she has for you all! I hope you all have an extra special Valentine's Day with your loves or your friends and family. I love hearing from you, so let me know what you have planned for Valentine's Day!

XOXO,

Julie

  5. In the event that you take a gander at it, it's clients like you and me who make an eatery in Manchester well known or label it as avoidable no matter what, however it's the eateries, which influence us to feel along these lines, isn't that so. pepperonis raynham
