Dry Hands Love Parodi & Ginger's Linkup #10

I was gifted this product by Parodi, but, as always, all opinions are my own.

I don't know about you ladies, but during the cold months, especially, my hands get so dry, and I'm always looking for good products to provide some relief. Unfortunately, I also have allergies to soaps, especially ones that contain an antibacterial. The combination of the cold weather and the soap allergy causes the tops of my hands to have a ton of tiny cracks in them, which is very painful. If any of you suffer from this problem, you know that some lotions burn and do more harm than good!

I have to share with you all that one time my hands got so irritated, and this was in my early years when I wore my engagement ring and wedding band ALL THE TIME! The combination of my skin allergies and the rings on my finger caused my ring finger to swell so badly, I though I would have to have my rings cut off. I was so, so upset and worried. I just couldn't get them off. Somehow, and I couldn't even tell you now what I did, I was able to finally get them over my swollen finger. That leads me into the topic of this post. When the nice people at Parodi Professional Care sent me their  Daily Moisturizing Hand Cream, I was more than happy to give it a try, and I have to say, I've been really happy with it.

First, it smells really good. That's always a bonus in my book. Second, it does not burn my cracked hands! That's a super bonus! As far as moisturizing, it feels very silky and smooth on your hands, and it's easily absorbed.  I put it on before bed time and sleep with it on, but it's the perfect size to carry in your purse if you like to apply moisturizer throughout the day. It made my hands feel super soft and moisturized. You can see it's consistency in the photo above, and I will tell you that it only take a tiny dot to do the trick. The amount on my hand in the photo is probably enough for about three applications. This little tube contains 100, plus applications! Can you imagine?

Now, according to Parodi, their Daily Moisturizing Hand Cream is perfect for hands frequently exposed to water, chemicals, heat, gloves and other irritants. I definitely agree with that statement. In addition, it is fast absorbing, and it's not greasy!

For Cyber Monday, Parodi is offering 40% off of all Parodi products, plus, you can use my promo code: Parodi15 to get an additional 15% off! You really can't beat that! If you're looking for a really nice hand cream, give this one a try.

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving holiday with your families and friends. I typically host Thanksgiving and Christmas for my family and do ALL of the cooking. Anyone who knows me probably thinks that really funny, because typically, I don't cook. This Thanksgiving, I decided to make a reservation. We ate at a restaurant that my husband and I eat at often and really love, but I'm always a little skeptical about holiday food that's not my own! I must admit, that I was really pleasantly surprised. The food was fabulous, they had bottomless Mimosas (win, win), and none of my family complained! So, in my book, it was a success! Now, on to Christmas! Who has decorated already?

For all of those that link up with me on Fridays, I am changing my link up day to Monday. I've found that, with the work week, I simply don't always have the time to get my linkup ready for Friday morning. I love your comments and thoughts, so feel free to leave me a note, and I hope you will all be able to join me on Mondays!

On that note...it's time to link up!

As always, I pick two favorite posts from the prior week's link up. This week, my two picks are:

Carrie from Curly Crafty Mom who had a great post about her sweater wish list. Check it out!
 AND:

Marcia from Hip Mom Style who had a fabulous post with stocking stuffer ideas! Check it out!

I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

XOXO,

Julie

    1. You know, it's not that it's super dry here, except maybe from running the heat. My hands do pretty good during the summer. I think it's the combo of the cold and my soap allergy that gets my hands in such a mess! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Your Thanksgiving sounds wonderful! I typically host as well and was also "off" this year. Such a nice change of pace. The hand creme sounds fabulous - so glad that you noted not feeling that burning sensation. Awful when you get that and realize the product's main ingredient is alcohol!

    1. I'm so glad to hear you got "lucky" too and didn't have to cook! I toyed with the idea, but when I saw one of my favorite restaurants was serving Thanksgiving dinner...that cinched it for me! Isn't that the truth about there being alcohol in so many products that are "supposed" to be soothing! This one was really nice. Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Cheryl, I have eczema too. That's what makes my hands get all cracked. Oddly, it seems pretty under control in the summer, but I'm a crazy hand washer. I guess my hands just can't take the soap and all that washing mixed with the cold weather. I think you'll like it. Have a great week!

    1. Oh, we did Jessica! You are so lucky your husband cooks! I sure wish my husband was a big cook. He'll cook on the grill, but that's about it. Honestly, we eat out at restaurants more than we eat at home. However, I do typically cook for the holidays.
